Soothe, relax, and restore with a balm that delivers magnesium directly through the skin.
Why you’ll love it:
- Supports restful sleep and relaxation
- Helps ease muscle cramps, tension, and soreness
- Absorbs through the skin without digestive upset
- Nourishes with grass-fed tallow, rich in vitamins A, D, E & K
- Gentle, family-friendly, and free from synthetic chemicals
Our philosophy:
So many of us are low in magnesium — a mineral essential for over 300 processes in the body. Instead of supplements that can be harsh on the stomach, our Mag Balm delivers magnesium where your body needs it most, while tallow deeply moisturizes and protects your skin.
How to use:
Massage a small amount into the bottoms of feet before bed to support sleep, or onto sore, tense areas to ease cramps and discomfort. A mild tingling sensation may occur — this is normal and usually fades with continued use.
Ingredients:
Grass-fed suet tallow, magnesium chloride, cold-pressed Cape olive oil slow-infused with calendula & chamomile, raw cocoa butter, Cape beeswax
What is tallow, and why do you use it?
What is tallow, and why do you use it?
Tallow is rendered fat from grass-fed, pasture-raised cattle. It closely mirrors our skin’s natural structure, making it deeply nourishing and easily absorbed. At Rootd, we render our own tallow in small batches for purity and control. You can read our full blog post on tallow here.
How do I store my tallow-based products?
How do I store my tallow-based products?
Keep your products in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. If the climate is very warm, you can refrigerate them temporarily. Always keep lids tightly closed, and avoid introducing water into the jar, as this can encourage mold and shorten shelf life.
